Names Of Cultural Fests Is There An African Cultural Link To Names That Are Popular Within Some Communities (like Laquisha, Shaniqua)?

Is there an African cultural link to names that are popular within some communities (like Laquisha, Shaniqua)? - names of cultural fests

I'm curious to know if the names that have become popular, or if they are made come from a country in Africa (wealth wise).

I've always wondered. I know that some African-sounding names are really Arabic (Jameel, Aliyah, etc.), but others such as "Loquacia" and "Shontavius" very "original".

I think many of them died shortly after the American movement for civil rights when black parents wanted their children in Africa-centered, or at least African-sounding names to distinguish them from white children and to practice, only taken. Davor man in black and whites in the U.S. in general the same types of names. It was after the civil rights movement, ironically, the name was "separation" of races - and that proper names acquired certain connotations and stereotypes.
