I think your father is okay. For your first car, you need something that is safer and be more reliable than a conventional car. I LOVE old classic cars, and owns some of those years (hopefully my '72 Monte Carlo), but is better for one car for every day a new one. Save your money and buy something cheap, reliable and secure his first car. Maybe a good 5 or 6YR old Ford Focus. With a good car industry can get a job providing pizzas to make some $ $ $, then you will find a solution to the classic fun. Old Chevelles, Monte Carlo, Mustang, Camaro are a lot of fun for the weekend, but the use of a large amount of gas, and no ABS brakes, airbags, crumple zones ... SEATBELTS good!

Save your pennies and save your pennies ... Someday Soon youto see what you want!

You want to bring the car to a dealer. Jiffy Lube, Quick Lube, etc., are great if you want a quick oil change, but they are not recommended major repairs. The "In & Out" service workshops are known for poor quality repairs and starting the client. Find a local workshop that specializes in the restoration or repair of all shapes and sizes. It seems that you are looking for a drummer, so it is not easy for a mechanic, especially if the repairs are done correctly and to your satisfaction. A vintage car is a big investment, make sure that you really trust the mechanics to be spend their time under the hood of his work. Shop around and find someone who knows the particular model you opt for it and. The best mechanics to this kind of work are the people whose cars are indications referred to mechanical crafts. Check with your first car!

Dr. Car Guy is more like Dumb Dr. Car Guy, and fix an old car is necessary to have a lot of money. All you need is available, but the costs are considerable. Little things that most people never think to walk like the windshield wipers for a few hundred dollars to see what I mean little things, up very quickly. If you do, a good body shop is the same, and your use of mechanical means for the repair of other

Let me say first that I have saved a lot of money for one of these options or chevelle corvette want. two cars in poor condition, have always a high price. The Chevelle is increasingly difficult to find and muscle cars of that time very popular are rising at the moment with the fans and collectors, so the prices. The corvette will cost much money, not only for the car, but insurance is for a new driver into the stratosphere. If you decide to buy a car or the like and are willing to spend money to fix them to take it to a shop that specializes in classic cars, hot rods, etc., and places like Jiffy Lube, oil change that usually and minor repairs. Good luck with your future purchase of a car.

I had restored a lot of muscle cars from Jiffy Lube. I have a car in his studio as we speak. It is an excellent repair and I recommend them.
